Hospice Care is offered to adults, children and infants living with a life-threatening illness such as cancer, Alzheimer's disease, AIDS, end-stage heart and lung disease, kidney disease, liver disease and neurological disorders such as Parkinson's and Lou Gehrig's disease. Hospice care is available to individuals with a prognosis of six months or less if the disease runs its normal course and who are not seeking aggressive, curative treatment.
