Every quarter the staff at Home &
Hospice Care of Rhode Island names a community physician who exemplifies
excellence in end-of-life care. The choice is made based on, but
not limited to, the following criteria:
- Communicates well with the patient, family and staff;
- Is responsive to the needs of the patient and family;
- Works well with the hospice Interdisciplinary Team;
- Is committed to providing quality end of life.
Dr.
Aman Nanda, Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine,
was recently presented the Physician Hospice Champion
award from Home & Hospice Care of Rhode Island (HHCRI).
Dr. Nanda resides in Warwick and has an office on East Avenue in
Pawtucket.
