In this season of spring, we gather to remember the long hard winter,
the season of longing and grieving, yet the season when the earth
prepares itself to bloom again. We gather to honor the memory of
our loved ones, to celebrate their lives, to acknowledge that the
seeds of hope are already planted within us.

Pawtucket
Red Sox Night Supports Home & Hospice Care of Rhode Island
Area residents can help
support Rhode Island’s only statewide hospice with a night out with
the Pawtucket Red Sox as they take on the Louisville Bats.
Pawtucket Red Sox Night for
Home & Hospice Care of Rhode Island takes place Wednesday, June
11, at McCoy Stadium in Pawtucket . Proceeds will benefit Home &
Hospice Care of Rhodes Island, which has offered comprehensive medical,
emotional and spiritual care for people facing life-challenging
illnesses for the past three decades.
Paw Sox night will feature
an all-you-can-eat barbecue, 5-7 p.m. , and Paw Sox game, starting
at 7:05 p.m. The $12 ticket covers the barbecue, game and activities
such as a prize raffle, music, Paw Sox players’ autograph availability
before the game and silent auction of New England sports memorabilia.
“If it happened in the New England sports world, there’s a good
chance we have the memorabilia,” said Pam Cassidy, Home & Hospice
Care of Rhode Island annual fund and memorial gift coordinator.
Sponsorships also are available.
“What better way to showcase your support of Home & Hospice
Care of Rhode Island, and at the same time entertain your staff
or guests, than with an evening enjoying America’s favorite pastime
– baseball,” Cassidy said.
