Bereavement Support Groups & Events

Sometimes it is helpful to speak to others who are experiencing the particular type of loss that you have also experienced. To address this important aspect of its mission, Home & Hospice Care of Rhode Island offers a number of 6-week support groups, monthly drop-in groups and special topic drop-in groups. See below.

SUMMER 2010 GRIEF SUPPORT SCHEDULE

GENERAL EIGHT-WEEK GRIEF SUPPORT GROUPS
Group space is limited, so pre-registration is required for our eight-week groups to ensure your place.  Please call the Center for Grief & Healing's Bereavement Line at (401) 415-4300 to register or to learn more about these programs.

EAST GREENWICH 
Tuesday, June 22 - August 10, 5 to 6:30 pm

PROVIDENCE - PARENTS WHO HAVE LOST ADULT CHILDREN
Wednesday, June 23 - August 11, 6 to 7:30 pm

 MONTHLY  DROP-IN GROUPS 

PROVIDENCE
    4th Tuesday of Each Month, 6 to 7:30 pm
    Summer Months Only -  June, July, August

GREENVILLE
    2nd Monday of Each Month, 6 to 7:30 pm

LOSS OF SPOUSE
    1st Thursday of the Month, 6 to 7:30 pm
    Summer Months Only - June, July, August

A STEP BEYOND
   1st & 3rd Thursday of the Month through July
    6 to 7:30 pm

SURVIVORS OF SUICIDE
    3rd Wednesday of the Month
