Home & Hospice Care of Rhode Island Appoints Director of Business Development

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Jay Henry is the new Director of Business Development at Home & Hospice Care of Rhode Island, the state’s leader in hospice and palliative care since 1976.

As such, he will have responsibility for all Business Development functions at Home & Hospice Care of Rhode Island including overall development, implementation and monitoring of marketing and educational activities with contracted and potentially contracted hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, physicians and other community agencies.  

 In making the announcement, Diana Franchitto, Home & Hospice Care of Rhode Island President/CEO stated, “Jay brings tremendous expertise in establishing strong relationships in the physician community and has a proven track record in marketing hospice services. His background in strategic planning, team building and sales will surely benefit Home & Hospice Care of Rhode Island.”

Prior to joining Home & Hospice Care of Rhode Island, Jay held executive sales leadership positions at both Pfizer Pharmaceuticals and Beacon Hospice Inc.   

Mr. Henry graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a degree in Business Administration. He resides in North Smithfield with his wife Cathleen and son Sam.
