How Your Donation Helps

With every donation Home & Hospice Care of Rhode Island receives we are able to provide compassionate end-of-life care to Rhode Islanders regardless of their insurance status or ability to pay. Your donation can help HHCRI in a variety of ways:

• Unrestricted Gifts (Gifts of Cash): Our single most popular donation; unrestricted gifts allow HHCRI to cover operating costs, individualized care plans, medical and pharmaceutical expenses, and bereavement, spiritual and social support.

• Free Care Program: Donors may wish to designate their donations to the HHCRI Free Care Program. This program was designed to provide hospice care to any Rhode Islander regardless of their ability to pay. Each year, Home & Hospice Care of Rhode Island provides more than a quarter of a million dollars in direct patient free care.
