Pawtucket, RI -- Home & Hospice Care
of Rhode Island, the third oldest hospice in the country and the
largest and most experienced hospice in the state, is holding its
2 nd Annual Hospice Walk at Colt State Park on Saturday, September
9. Registration starts at 8:00 am and the walk begins at 9:00 am.
This event has become an adjunct to Home & Hospice Care of Rhode
Island’s annual Hospice Regatta, which also takes place on the same
day in the waters off Bristol.
Walkers, old and young, in
groups or alone, can choose between a two-mile and a five-mile course.
Entertainment will be provided by Brogue & Blarney, a lively
Irish and contemporary band that features upbeat favorites from
Clancy Brothers to The Pogues and U2. Balloon artist and magician
Lon Cerel will be on hand performing tricks and delivering fun for
all ages. It is great family fun.
