Pawtucket, RI – February
15, 2007… Home & Hospice Care of Rhode Island (HHCRI), a leader
in hospice and palliative care, is pleased to announce the appointments
of Diana Franchitto as Vice President of Marketing and Fund Development
and Charles Denno as Chief Financial Officer.

and referral sources.”
Diana Franchitto
Diana is a seasoned marketing
and communications executive with more than 20 years of healthcare
experience. She most recently served as Interim Senior Vice President
of Public Affairs at Caritas Christi Health Care and Vice President
of Marketing at Caritas Norwood Hospital. In addition to her marketing
and communications responsibilities, she was an integral part of
strategic planning, physician recruiting and fund development initiatives
within Caritas Christi.
In her role as Vice President of Marketing
& Fund Development at HHCRI, Diana oversee the organization’s
fund raising, marketing, public relations, and community outreach
to meet its strategic and growth initiatives.
Diana holds a BS in business
and an MBA in marketing from Bentley College in Waltham, MA and
is a frequent guest lecturer at Bentley .
She resides in Foxboro, MA, with her husband and their two
children.
Charles Denno
Chuck has a strong background
in non-profit and health care management. His Rhode Island experiences
include Bradley Hospital, Kent County RIARC, and St. Mary’s Home
for Children in North Providence .
Chuck brings to the position
extensive experience managing financial operations and information
systems for large non-profit organizations. In his role as Chief
Financial Officer at HHCRI, Chuck will oversee finance, human resources,
information systems and quality & compliance functions at HHCRI.
His background in mergers and acquisitions, and in financing, designing
and renovating office space will help HHCRI move forward with construction
plans for its new inpatient unit at 1085 North Main Street in Providence.
Chuck holds a BA and MBA
from Providence College. He lives in Rumford with his wife.
